Welcome to the North Carolina Riptides Basketball Club
The North Carolina Basketball Club is a non-profit USSSA, USBA AAU/YBOA basketball organization started in March 2007. It's goals are to develop in boys and girls basketball skills and other life skills traits which include: competition, teamwork, academic achievement, accountability, and the development of a strong work ethic. In both it's character and presence the Riptides is an exemplary representation of the Hampstead community and it's immediate surroundings.
The North Carolina Riptides Basketball Club, coaches players and parents are embracing a tremendous opportunity to help shape the future of many young men and women. The season begins in early March 2007 and extends to late July. North Carolina Riptides plan to play approximately 30 to 40 games in North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Indiana, and Arkansas, including the USSSA Nationals in Fort Wayne Indiana, USBA Nations in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. YBOA National Championships in Florida. The AAU National Championships in Little Rock, Arkansas.
